Default Pictures of "StayFast" canvas top VRS VL tops...

About to have to buy a new top and i cannot find any quality pictures of a stayfast glass top on a 00-02 s2k and i want to see what everyone is talk about... "that this top is a richer deeper black and looks nicer" i would like to see this so i can make my mind up on which top to buy... Thanks in Advance!!!

I had a stay fast top on my MY00 with the back glass conversion. The stayfast top is everything you heard it would be. It is richer and IMO looks more upscale/classy. I orderd my top from robbins but its a major PITA to put it on if you DIY. At least if you are my size, 6'3" 200lbs. The only real draw back i could find in it was that the back glass make it more difficult to see than the large plastic window.


Sorry thats the only picture i had of the top. I would take another picture for you but this is what it looks like now.

wow thanks for the pictures... thats crazy... i thought the s2k was harder to steal.. did the 2000 year model not have the chipped key? i have a 2000... so im curious?

No it had a chipped key. But even the best security systems dont work when they have your keys.

where is the chip in the key... i dont notice a little area were the insert it like i do in other cars.... can they get a chipped key just with your VIN?

one tip is cover your vin number with a business card on your windshield... or fuel cut of switch
