I definitely say this is one of the "good" accident stories, in the sense that there was no life lost, just a car and a little bang up for the driver.

Hopefully there are no lasting effects from the head trauma. It's fascinating what can happen after some brain impact. Best of luck in recovery.

I'm guessing you haven't been behind the wheel again yet?

I am also very glad you are ok and recovering quickly. I am really impressed how much abuse these cars will take and the drivers walk away. Simply amazing little beasts. Someone posted pictures of an S that had its first flying lesson off of Suzuka I believe?? This guy also walked away almost unscathed. What a testament!!!

Recover quickly and post some pictures of your new S when you get time. There will be a new S won't there??????????

Some smokin deals out there right now on new ones. I hear the CR's are even safer than the regular S's, wink wink, nod nod. Might give you something positive to look forward to.

To the OP:

Life is good. You are bascially OK and hopefully no major damage to you. Heal quickly and don't dwell on it.

To the folks getting worked up:
Give it a rest, man. The guy was lucky. How it happened doesn't really matter. Maybe he remembers, maybe he doesn't. No one really cares except for the fact that if he really doesn't remember, I'm a little concerned for his health. Maybe he'll remember eventually.

Damn, what's wrong with a little humor if the guy is OK. As long as he's insured, and OK...it's just a lost car and some discomfort.

Most likely, driver error but who knows?
