Excuse my ignorance but why can't you just get the little clear difuser from a euro dealer? Is that the bit (2 I guess) that cost $900 or is it the entire housing. Those clear lenses must be available without replacing the entire housing. If it's that orange piece that costs $900 bucks, I will go out and disassemble my headlights immediately and start selling clear ones for $10, making a health 900% markup to boot.

The $900 is the entire housing, with a set of the HID lights as well. I guess that's why it's so expensive...what Randy did by melting the glue to take it apart and to put it back together was really gutsy. Even if mingster does produce the clear lens, it would only be a select few people who would decide to do that to their cars...I would love to, but I certainly wouldn't be able to do it myself. Oh yeah, and if the lens is clear, don't you have to put in an amber bulb? I thought clear lenses with clear turn signals were illegal here, but I'm not positive on that.
