I just got back from the dealership and they had a the 2002 silver/red... IMO it looked awsome. But I still think I like the 00' & 01' silver/red much more. My dealer still had a silver/red 01' which I would love to get but I'm trying to get the dealer to drop the price since it's already a year old and I can get the new one for just $100 more. Does anyone think that this is going to be possible? If so.. what do you think would be a reasonalbe offer to make? Currently I'm trying to get $3000 of the sticker but I don't think that will happen but I figured I should try... They also have a silver/black 01'

Why would honda make everything else red...except the passenger side vent, the defroster vents under the windshield, the torso vents over the radio???
Ric (of Ric's Accessories fame) now has to do something now that Honda have started to supply their cars with his centre console covers...(BTW also the wind bloc)

My 2002 silver with red interior came today. I said the car in person and it was beautiful. It was not like the pictures posted here. You have to see it in person to appreciate the red interior. Even though the red interior was outstanding, I rejected the car and ordered the silver with black interior after a long hour of sitting in the car. I wanted to ask you if I made the right decision. My S2000 will be a daily driven car and I thought that I would get tired of the red interior. And it was too flashy and I might possibility be mistaken for a pimp daddy. No doubt that I would get the red interior, if my s2000 was a weekend car. So, what do you think

Is it just me, or does the rake of the soft top appear to be more sloped than of the previous models?

It's probably more sloped because of the weight of the glass window. Also, the internals of the top were changed from the ones we have. So all of the framing is different.

<< does the rake of the soft top appear to be more sloped? >>

I just got back from a dealer where I parked my '01 next to their '02. I agree that, although subtle, the rear of the soft top is more sloped on the new model.

I'm sure the top probably does have a little more slope to it in order to get the glass to fold over the vinyl properly.

As for the red interior, It's too much red, but it's not bad. What I'm not very thrilled with is the new silver. It has a primer quality to it. Maybe you need to see it in person like the red interior.
