Sux. Some people. WTF?!

I've had that happen to me in different cars. Not recently, thank goodness. The problem is that our front bumper doesn't even come close to an SUV rear bumper height... so they "sit" on our hoods in an impact.

If you were driving 20mph, that fender would be at your windshield.

That's one of the reasons I drive the SUV when it's really slippery out... it's the other people I worry about more than anything else.

on one side, it's kind of liberating. driving around with a mint car, you always worry about something happening. i dont think i'll fix it just yet. i can go to the track and not care about the blue tape or clear bra, etc.

the funny thing was that the lady driving was sobbing and i was tryin to make her feel better. as long as my frame/stucture isn't compromised, it's cool.

Azenis love low tread, take it out racing and they stick like glue when the tread level is down.

my point of impact was the same place earlier this year, rear ended a ford excursion at the same spot, my fault, it cost more than $950 to fix b ut there was no frame damage. yours looks less severe and should be a simple fix and repaint of just a few parts. the car does well in an accident considering how large the suv was.

I once had someone try to parallel park a cargo van in the space that was occupied by my S2000... That was beautiful.

I had fun with it while I was waiting for insurance...

eventually it went in my basement, all signed up like a cast.

Gotta be careful spray painting on your damaged car before it gets fixed... my friend's miata got smashed, he painted "This sucks!" on it, and the insurance didn't want to pay out because he "damaged" the car on purpose (even though he sprayed on destroyed sheet metal)

damn, that sucks! Luckily I had no such problem. I got the estimate first, though.

the guys at the shop were like "WTF?!" and got a good laugh out of it.
