I have driven an S (many times) that is equipped with JIC's and I would never put them on my car and seem to have made the car handle worse (more twitchy and less predictable, it could be the drop or the settings, but iether way I dont like it).
The flex are a nice entry-level set up and can be used with edfc, a few friends have them and seem to be very happy with them.
For the price I would recommend the KW variant 3's they are not too much more $ and are a really good coil-over for the price .

SEARCH I'm gonna stab myself in the face if I see another "which coilover" thread.
Cliff notes:
-All jdm suck
-KW's pretty good but personally, I'd get konis with Ground Controls if you are going for bang for the buck as I don't believe the KWs can offer what they advertise and I know Koni makes quality dampers.
-You can't afford the good stuff.
