I have a 33lb lab and I put an old bed sheet in the passenger seat whenever I take him somewhere. The sheet is large enough to go over the back of the seat and still cover the floorboard. So far this works fine, and is a very cheap solution.

A dog is an excellent security system for your S2k.

Bettis had a harness that the seat belt would fit through. I think I got it online at Drs. Foster and Smith.

I don't own a pet, but I would put it in the car.

You can always wrap the seat with some old beach towels, this will avoid the scratching to the leather.

Scruff loves the S! He’s only 15lbs, but I still put a thick beach towel down so he doesn’t completely destroy the interior. You have to watch out for the armrest/ center console area......very easily scratched. As you can see (kind of), I have the towel wrapped over the center console and tucked into the seats. 100% of the time he rides in the car the hazards and the rear defrost go off and on at least 3 times. I do have a few nice scratches on the passenger side from him hanging out as well.

Pets are fine in the s, I have taken my 50lb pit out of town on several occasions. Just make sure nails are trimmed and have a blanket/towel covering the seat.

I tried taking my beast of a dog to the vet in a tercel and it destroyed my interior along with my arms, his play biting and nibbling was more like a chewing with the giant fangs he had hahaa, but he was a good dog. I didnt own my s2000 at the time but i dont think he would have stayed in the car, it was hard enough keeping him inside in the toyota. *on a side note, my mom gave him away while i was at work one day, last i ever saw of my boy
