Performance??

Exhausts have shown to be very poor at gaining HP. However, some of them take significant amounts of weight off the car, which is the equivalent to adding HP from a performance perspective.

The Amuse Titanium exhaust system takes off 44 pounds off the stock exhaust since the stock one is like 55 pounds or something but be prepared to pay atleast $2000 for it with only an estimated 4 hp gain.

aftermarket MUFFLERS are useless, all they do is make loud noise. on the other hand, full catback exhaust systems do gain SOME hp, but nothing big. as someone mentioned before, the weight savings is a good reason to go with this system.

I had a secondary exhaust on my old ride and it didnt' do anything but make noise. Plus spending the extra 2K on the "best exhaust" for HP is ridicuolous - you mind as well get a chip. Most likley I'm going to leave the exhaust alone, or go with a simple Spugen. We'll see how the 2Q bonus turns out...

Yup IMO for the $ the SS TI tip spugen is the way to go. I'm not sure if I'm going for the duel or single, the duel just sounds SOOOOO sweet.

Go to their website, they have dyno's, and I have heard nothing but great things from people that buy from them (Spugen) both in product quality and customer service.
