Be Careful!

There is a wire behind the carpet at this location. It comes down from the dash and back toward the seat. Probably for the weight sensor for the PS airbag disable. I could see it when I removed the top tab for the net pocket. Needless to say I backed off and did not mount it there; although with some time and labor I suppose the wire could be rerouted above or below.

Mounted mine today using the center hole. Best S2000 mod ever.

^if you ever go on a long drive...away from civilization, its a GREAT mod. Bottle of soda/water goes a long way. Coffee might be the best because in its position, it gets warmed up..lol

Getting!! I don't use the factory cupholder because it of course makes shifting awkward, and I keep my iPod/cell phone in there. GREAT job figuring out this mod!
