This unit came with 4 mounting screws. Since it is such a heavy duty unit I would like to use all 4 screws in the same location as the OP, but just a little lower and back to clear the vinyl and net pocket.
Will it be safe to drill the tranny hump at this location? The screws shouldn't penetrate through more than 1/2".

Over 2 years late, but thank-you. I was just running around today with that Rockstar can getting in the way and thinking about what a PITA it was. This is f'n perfect.

I got two of them at Tractor Supply Company for my utility trailer. I think they were $6 a piece.
