meh, i have a 22 mile per way daily commute and i burn rubber on d1 star specs. theyre cheap enough to do that with, IMO. in the winter i switch to dedicated snow tires on ap1 rims.

i agree with the op. tires are one of the worst areas to cheap out. with cheap tires, you dont get to really enjoy the handling -- one of the real highlights of this car. but i guess not everybody bought the car with the intention to drive it that way....

I would accept nothing less than Hankook RS-2 or Kumho MX's. All Seasons are for civics. 5,000 miles on a tire is normal on the S.

Tires, IMO the only thing between your car and the road, so I never go cheap

Michelin Pilot Sport2 all the way around!

all season is somewhat acceptable for colder/wetter state, but there's people out there rocking 3k worth of rims running on falken 912 M+S, yes, the same set of tires i light up in my 20 years old beater.

yup never skimp out on tires, go for the best. my next tires im looking at are the Potenza RE 11, or Yokohama sport tires
