People with spoon intakes
I just got my spoon intake a couple of days ago. I looked on the web for pictures of it and found that there are indeed small divits, gaps at the end that latches onto the front grille.
On my intake however, there are no gaps as shown below:
Is this normal, or have i been jacked from my seller?

mine has divots as well, and it helps hold the snorkel in place. i have bought mine used, so now i don't know if it's authentic spoon or not. if it doesn't have them, wouldn't it put pressure on it to push back and crack when the bumper is mounted on? i'll see if i can take some pics of the grill before it gets too dark...

The one with divits is an authentic spoon
The one without divits is a replica
However the replica (without the divits) installs just fine and doesn't apply to much pressure on the grill area.
