Generally top up when parked in the garage. Too much dust out here to leave it down overnight.

I will leave it down only if I know I'm going back out within a few hours.

7 people so far are lucky enough to not have had their car damaged by rodents. Leaving the top down or windows cracked on the east coast means mouse nest in your A/C ducts and possible interior damage as well (unless you drive the car daily)

I leave it whichever it is currently when I pull into the garage. Never had any rodent problems.

i keep it up just to keep it cleaned and bugs. i live in NJ. lol, if you already addressed the TSb for the tear then keep it up but dont latch it.

I used to put it up anytime I parked, but I have a small tear now so I started leaving it down as much as possible

The wear the top gets that causes tears occurs mostly while driving with the top down as the folded top vibrates! All 3 of my wear spots (not yet tears as I put wear patches on them) are in locations that have zero wear during folding or while up.
