I think i'm still the only MY04+ who's done this...maybe? maybe not? I've also got my rear painted as well.

Not headlight-focused and cropped, but you get an idea. We actually removed the amber diffusers and reinstalled them. I'm glad we did.

 

We also left the black thing at the bottom of the light unpainted(flat black). It makes for a nice contrast on an otherwise pretty stealthy mod. The Moonrock is dark enough to not draw too much attention to the painted lamp.

 

i really like the painted 04. looks better than the <03 lenses...

 

I think it's the huge diffusers that throw it off.

there are pictures there from our Sebring Head light/ tail light project. We did this last summer around may/june of 2004, when I still had a Wing on my rear and a plate in the front and with emblems still intack...etc. Anyway, there are pics of my rear in there.

 

Nice pics gyro fx. Who painted to trim for you though? Was it professional or did you spray it yourself? I
