Any other paints out there with more of a color selection
Used G2 from Tire Rack G2 red paint on Silverstone. Looks great and was really simple. Tire Rack also offers discount for s2ki members. They offer 9 different colors.

I just have no time for the "all show - no go" crowd, as I see no point in making supposedly performance oriented mods if they are of no performance benefit.
Have you thought that some people just like the way they look? Who cares if they dont driver their car on the track or not? Besides, people will do what they want with their car. I mean, I cant stand it when people put big spoilers and ground effects on their car, but I'm not going to go tell them that they are idiots because they added a crap load of weight to the car. If I painted mine it would purely be for looks. Besides, I dont think anyone here would really consider painting the calipers a performance mod--sure they help keep the calipers clean, but how is it increasing the performance?

If you want to track your car there is NO paint finish which can withstand the high temperatures the calipers will experience. I don't like painted calipers as they tell me that no matter how much the owner boasts, they don't drive their car hard enough to discolour the paint on them.

It's kind of a contradiction in terms - i.e I paint my calipers because I am an automobile enthusiast and drive my car hard - well, huh, if that is the case then then why aren't your painted calipers discoloured then?
Maybe people just like the looks of painted calipers and dont intend to track them. I love opinionated people who think their views are the only ones that matter.

Why not tell them they're idiots - after all they are!
