It really depends on the color and the body shop.
Some of the paint companies can't match a specific color where other paint companies do it well.
First find the high quality shop that you have confidence in, then ask some very specific questions:
Who is your paint supplier?
On this specific color, how does (paint supplier) match?
On this specific color, how often do you have to blend into the next panel?
(panel blending is an acceptable procedure since some of the colors are not possible to match because of the technology of the paint used at the factory vs the technology used in the body shop.)
How many attempts at matching to you take before you strip the panel and start over? (you don't want a lot of paint build up. The thicker the paint the easier to chip and crack)
