My info:
Year: 2007
Color: Laguna Blue Pearl
Purchased: 4/2007
Price: $31,500 w/ 43 miles
Mileage: 48k July 2011
Made my purchase in Texas. Was on the job at the Toyota dealer next door, and went to Honda for a few parts for my civic. Never made it pass the showroom floor... Flagged a sales person down and put a deposit down for them to hold it til I was done with work. Went in after work, and told them I would be back in 2 days, that way I had ample time to revert my civic back to stock. 2 days go by, and I'm at the dealership during lunch signing papers. Love at first sight. What can I say.

Model Year: 2003 (Purchased new in September 2003)
Price: $30000
Color: Suzuka/ Blue
Mileage as of 07/12/11: 38,400
I had my choice of any color...chose Suzuka to piss off Triple-H!
Just retired it from 7 years of heavy autocross use. No plans to part with it in the near future.

What kind, if any abnormal wear came from the many years of Auto X?

I bought a 2002 straight off the truck. At the time I appeared to be the first person to be able to buy one under MSRP as no on on the forum believed I did it.
I actually paid $500 less than the Miata I'd ordered.
I have about 60k miles on it and it still looks awful purty to me.
I have not intention of selling it. I got the hots for a new M3 earlier in the year, but my wife wouldn't let me buy it as I would have had to sell the S to be able to afford it.
Just got through detailing it last night.

Mine is a 2005 that I bought in June of 05
GPW/Tan
Price: $31k
Current Mileage is 29,000 - No mods, the car still looks like it is less then a week old.
I'll add other cars to the collection most likely, but I'm certain I will never sell the s2000.

About 53K on mine now. Was on 3 wait lists for 8 months; got it the 1st day they were available (9/17/99). Heavily tracked and moderately modded, it's now a bit of an OE frankenstein, with bits and pieces from various model years. Still a serviceable daily driver.
Did someone ask for pics?
1999 - Shiny and new (and just about the only time I ever used the tonneau):
Jan '02 - Track day at Laguna with S2KCA:
Summer '02 I think - the first Irvine mega-meet:
Buttonwillow in '03 - first track day on R-comps (Hoosiers no less!). Dig the Mugen exhaust and s2ki license frame:
Cal Speedway in '04 - on JRZs and RA1s. Before:
After, pt. 1:
After, pt. 2:
At Homecoming II last fall:
Those die-casts are by Ebbro, from Honda Direct Marketing in '99, in all 6 original colors. I had them a few months before I got the car.
And last, in current S2K Challenge trim (the rims and wing/trunk go on for track duty only):
Yes, that's still the original soft top and plastic rear window. And no, I have never, ever installed the front license plate.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Model Year: 2007 (Purchased new in April 2007)
Price: $30000
Color: Berlina Black
Milage at Purchase : 4
Mileage as of 07/17/11: 34,400
I had wanted this car since 2000 and in 2007 I took the leap and still couldn't be happier with my purchase. I know everyone always says that there's that one car they will never get rid of and this is that car for me. I'll retire it from daily driving someday, but I honestly can't see myself driving anything else.

Model Year: 2002(purchased in April 2002)
Price: $32K plus tax/license/extended warranty
Color: Suzuka Blue Metallic
Mileage At Purchase: 8
Current Mileage: 65,100
After my ITR was stolen in Feb. '02, I really wanted a Subaru WRX STi, but they wouldn't be available till later that year. I was even thinking about just buying a nice pickup and leaving "imports" alone for awhile. A friend of mine had just bought an '02 Silverstone and knew how I felt. I wanted to at least test drive a base model WRX so this same friend drove me to the Subaru dealer in his S2000. I think I began to fall in love at this time. I test drove the WRX but wasn't sold on it although I knew it wasn't a STi. As we're walking to the parking lot my friend throws me the keys to his S and tells me to go ahead an give it a test drive home, Trying to be modest, I refused and knowing it was his new car I threw the keys back to him.
I drove his S back home and I was sold. I spent the last two weeks of March '02.researching prices and dealers for the Suzuka Blue color. The first week of April '02 I was in contact with a salesman and signed the paperwork on the 11th.
I haven't looked back since........

Model Year: 2008(purchased in April 2008)
Price: $31K plus tax/license
Color: Grand Prix White
Mileage At Purchase: 13
Current Mileage: 30,800
I was set on a fit until the GF said try the S2000. Made arrangements to pick up a 2007 LBP for 28.5k. Dealer emails me the night pickup saying a GPW is available. decided on white over blue. 2 weeks later i lose my job. survived for 1.5 years doing temp work, contemplated selling her to reduce the amount of bills. Got picked up as a contractor for edison, bought a house so i can stick the S2k in a garage. Mods include KW V3, 18" CE28, OEM lip & downforce splitter. its been a long few years since i picked her up, so i'm looking to keep her for quite some time since GPW is a bit rare and she's a keeper.
