Purchased a used 2002 in 2003 with hardtop and 8k miles on the odo for $29,900.
Currently at ~50k miles.
When the economy crashed in 2009, I needed a new daily driver and my wife said go ahead and get that CR, it's the last opportunity to buy a new one.
2008 CR purchased new in April 2009 with 31 on the odo for $27,500. Yup, I paid less for my new CR than my used AP1 back in the day. Currently with 15k miles on it.

Model Year: 2001
Purchased Early: April 2001
Price: 32.5 w/cd changer and titanium shift knob
Current Mileage: Almost a quarter of a million (245k)!
Color: Spa Pearl Yellow
I purchased it from Montclair Honda in California but lived in Las Vegas at the time. I was set to purchase one from my local dealer, I was just waiting for stock to come it. We had agreed to MSRP, but when the shipment came and after the test drive, the sales manager decided to sell to another customer for 5k over MSRP. I was angry after that incident, so that same day I emailed dealers in SoCal and AZ and purchased mine the next day and drove it home.
This has been the best car that I have ever owned.

Model year: 2001
Bought new: February 2001
Color: Silverstone Metallic/Red
Current miles: 54,000
Mods: Virtually nothing serious....JR air filter, front splitter, black leather console cover, Muz mat.
Price: MSRP....at the time dealers were asking $5K over list, and of course test drives were cause for great laughter from the salespeople. A guy actually laughed at me for merely asking about availability!
One nut case owner was asking $42K for her used 2000, and another wanted to charge me for a test drive. I refused, but he gave me a ride, driving like a lunatic (100mph in freeway traffic)
so I leaped out as soon as I could. Heard later he totalled it in the rain somewhere.
I located my car at a dealer in El Centro, CA, on the Mexican border south of San Diego. I was referred by Priceline, of all things. This was a small multi-line dealership that mostly sold GMC trucks. The owner did drive my S2000 about 300 miles, but it was never registered. We live in the San Francisco Bay Area, so it was a cheap Southwest flight to San Diego where my brother and sister-in-law picked us up and whisked us to El Centro. My car was in the showroom with a handwritten "Sold" sign on it. We drove the 500 or so miles back to Livermore, top down in February! It was 87 degrees in LA!
I drove it to work occasionally, but mostly for fun. In 2005 I had to retire for health reasons and was told I would need a heart and kidney transplant to survive. I endured five long years of waiting during which I lost interest in everything, amazingly even following racing and most surprisingly, driving the S2000. I barely took the cover off, just using it enough to keep it drivable. Miraculously, I received the transplant in February of 2010. As soon as I was allowed to drive, I got into the car and renewed what is now a 10-year loving relationship.
