trust me that bondo WILL crack.
i played with that shiet everyday for 4 years in my school.

if you wanna wrap it...
all i can think of right now is... like i mentioned above, thermo wrap.

same shiet that some people wrap their headers with.

for a sec i though somebody pooped in your car.
damn..almost woke someone up laughing at that.

seriously go with the thermal tape, but the fact is, you are still drawing hot air into the intake, as you are still pulling air from the engine bay.

if you are really dead set about getting a cai the ghetto way, just go to sears, and buy some Clothes Drier Exhaust tubing, and route that to the hole you cut out of the bumper...at least then it would be ugly AND functional

Take that thing off NOW, and from now on pay other people to work on your car.

You've got great taste in cars, and BIG brass ones to even show that picture...

Why exactally are you replacing the intake? Spend some time and money to do the exhaust if you want to see any differences. The OEM airbox is so well designed that many of the Japanese tuners have been running it in their cars for years.

You simply do not see signficant gains from intakes on this car. Get a high flow filter, put your OEM airbox back on and focus your attention on something else.
