I would like to thank everyone for their responses, the more opinions the better!!! A lot of people have stated that this exhaust is very loud. I am more interested in how it sounds with the silencers in, as they will probably only be removed if I decide to take the car to a track.

Thanks again for all of your input!

OMG i just installed my Invidia Exhaust and it's crazy loud!!! I kept reading about it but I really didn't believe that it would be this loud! makes me want to get a silencer for it. We will see after my ears stop bleeding The drone on this beast even shakes the fat on my stomach when i drive around lol. j/k I have pics and vids of the exhaust if anyone wants see them. Also i want to see if anyone is near LA, Ca that has the Invidia exhaust but with the silencer so i can hear it before i decide to do it. I love the sound!

i would say go listen to one in person no video does it justice. it is very loud and with or without the silencers. im running a testpipe as well and ive had numerous people at the track tell me how great it sounds. i love it and completely satisfied but to me it sounds like you want something a little quieter espcially if your driving it with the silencers in everyday

I bought my car used and it came with the Invidia. It was loud, but I owned an RSX-S with comptech cat back (small drone at low rpm and LOUD at highs), but the invidia is like a purrr in between 3-4k rpm, a sexy drone under, and a wailing beast once it hits vtec. Enough said!

I had the V3 and TP on my 02 and I did like it. I got pulled over maybe 3-4 months into owning it and took it off and went back to stock. I like the lower profile of stock.

It WAS loud....but it did sound good. I could have taken it off, showed the judge, and put it back on but....i dunno. I think that if it was a track car it would be ok, but it just sometimes seems obnoxious to me driving around town. Due to the nature of the car I usually shift around 4.5k just normal driving and it sounds like im racing all over the place. So...not to crap on the Indivia, i think thats my POV on all exhausts.

To answer your ? yes its loud, and yes it sounds good. V3 was made very well too!

I have the Invidia V1 (no burnt tips FTW). Its, as said before, VERY loud, and thankfully I eliminated most of the drone with the Invidia TP. It sounds fantastic though, and its one of the best looking exhausts for our cars. Light too - 23lbs? I believe. On mine I ripped the Invidia badges off the tips and from the center to give it a cleaner/more custom look.

Its still my favorite sounding exhaust for the S2000.

lol I love that purrrr! I'm thinking of using my cup holder/ash tray as a ear plug hoster for the girls that i take in my car. I'm sure they will freak out without the ear plugs

Wish I had read this before I just purchased the Invidia N1 exhaust with test pipe. I wanted the deepened sounds but now Im worried that it may be too loud and I wont like it.

The silencers Im not familiar with. How are these removed etc? what are you reffering to with this please explain.

thanks
