Default opinion on buying used s2k still under warranty

if you are buying s2000 that is still under manufacturer warranty (either new car warranty or honda certified warranty), during the buyer inspection, can the buyer ask the seller to ask the dealer to perform compression test without paying ? the car is obviously under warranty, so I dont see a reason why not, but I would like to ask people here. if there is problem with the cylinder (misfiring, etc), will the dealer fix it under warranty?

Thanks.

EDIT: Dunno why double post, but how do I delete?

only if there is something wrong with the engine(related to compression) then u can have them do the compression test ... but when car seems normal i dont think u could without paying

I don't think they'll do it. Best to tke it to an independent anyway, for an un-biased opinion.
