i am baffled and i coulden't find it anywhere in the manual that states how to open the passenger door while inside without reaching over and pulling it out manually?

lol i assume you mean unlock it.

the only way to do that is to reach over and unlock it. there is no "power lock" to unlock it.

This is true. The remote won't work when it's in the ignition. You either have to open the passenger door with the remote before you put it in the ignition or lean over and unlock it. This has been a common complaint on all models of the S2000.

Have you read this thread (also by xviper)? Go to page 5 and you'll see how to open the passenger door.

I know that people like to make fun when someone complains about the feature that keeps you from locking your keys in your car, but the other day i was TRYING to lock my keys in so i could keep my battery running to charge my phone. I didnt want to leave the keys in the ignition and walk away, so i put the valet key in and tried locking with the remote, but it is litterally impossible to lock your keys in there without messing around with wires. I just ened up letting my phone battery go dead.
