As for my own experiences with Rick, over the course of the last couple years I have enjoyed transactions with Rick that have included each at different times... USDM Clear Diffusers, [Steering Wheel, Body, and Wheel] Badges, Billet Aluminum Engine Bay Pieces, "Ultra-Custom" 7/8ths Laser Etched Windscreen, Powdercoated Valve Cover, Pearl Spun Countersunk Shift Knob, and Leather Console Cover.

But to Rick's credit, over any of those purchases/transactions, my respect for Rick's credibility and willingness to help this community lay directly with his love for the Fall Colors Tour <= There is not one...not ONE...other sponsor that goes so far out of his (or her?) way to infuse enthusiasm for our S2000. We have some great sponsors...no doubt about it. Yet each and every thread in this linked Fall Colors Forum offers its own level of testimony to Rick Hesel's unwaivering willingness to support S2000 owners enjoyment of this automobile.

I placed 3 orders over the past 18 months from Rick's company, including badges, shift knobs, and leather products.

I received all the products here in Germany and have been very satisfied with them. When a shipping error by FedEx resulted in an order getting returned over the Atlantic, Rick dealt with the problem professionally. Great stuff.

Correspondence response was slow at times, and I believe that too many orders for too little manpower was the problem. Everything was eventually completed to my satisfaction, and I'd have no qualms about doing further business with him, a valued member of the community.

My offer to him to take him around the Nurburgring circuit should he ever visit Germany still stands.

I have had only good experiences with both Rick's and Rick.

This next has only to do with the type of person I believe Rick to be as witnessed through his unsolicited actions. My wife and I were to be leaders during Fall Colors '03. We were unable attend due to a life-or-death situation... literally! While everyone was very concerned for my "_+1," Rick made sure that my wife had a FC shirt to wear home from the hospital! How cool is that?!

He also took the time to write us a letter stating his concern for her health. We were refunded our FC registration fee with out even asking for it. If Rick has a hand in something, I believe with all my heart that its fruition will come pass.

I have two shift knobs from Rick's(along w/ other items). The shipment of the pistol grip knob was delayed. I brought this to his attention and Reedz had one in the mail the next day. Another

Now, his choice of music at HIN Baltimore IS questionable!!! We luv ya, Rick!

Rick is great. Great products good customer service and if you get to meet him in person you will realize that the S 2000 owners are lucky to have him. I bought more than half a dozen items from him and all were as expected.

I've never personally ordered anything from Rick, but by visiting the boards for over a year now and seeing many "Where is my product from Ricks" posts, I'll say that Rick always responds to those posts pretty quickly and with the same response. Rick has made it clear time and time again that his S2k accessories business is a 2ND BUSINESS! Therefore, his real life does come before it. But, they do everything they can to keep up with the large amount of emails and orders they get!

I just got back online after a getaway weekend....have not read the other threads....but wanted to say:

Thanks to Rick for all of the support of this Great Community at s2i.com.

I have only had minor transactions with RSA, but have had major interchanges with Rick in person....all a great pleasure. Hell, I even look back fondly on that $85 speeding ticket as part of the NorthCarolina13 enroute to OBX '02 Is there any east coast S2000 event (and most west coast times) that Rick has not supported

Although I hope that his business turns a profit, I can't believe that the proceeds pay him more than $5/ hour for all of the hundreds of hours that he's put into the S2000 and this site over the past +3 years!

Shoot, Looks like I posted my kudos for Rick and company, in the wrong thread.

Probably spent around 3 large or more on their products, all happy & all good. By virtue of being a happy customer of Ricks, I'm now a loyal fan.

Anyone that says bad things on the boards about Rick and company is a weenie.

Ive already sent this to rick in an email, but why not...

I only ordered a Team Voodo shift knob from him, but the email response with my reciept was almost immediate, and there was a delay in shipping, but when i sent him an email, he responded right away, and assured me that the order was placed, and will be on its way soon. Things like inventory cant be blamed for late delivery, and its perfectly understandable. Any emails or questions i have had for him were responded to right away, and when my shift knob did arrive, the packing was excellent, and the quality was impeccable. I already have many things in mind for my S, and a lot of them will be from ricks.com....no questions asked.

Keep up the good work Rick and Stratocaster.....you guys are awesome!!!!
