The textured black knob and the blue leather boot were installed yesterday. This was my second order. Quality is excellent and everything has been received when expected.

I started reading the now-infamous "Lousy" thread last night, and I'm glad to see an alternative view. I'm a little surprised that one person's trials... as subjective as they may be... became a launching pad for some sort of witch hunt against a company in business with limited resources and fewer profits.

I haven't read the other comments in this very long rebuttal, but I'd like to chime in with my own $.02....

I have purchased items from Rick's on several occasions... dating as far back as '00... (ah, yes, the 'salad days' in the S2K community.... )

Anyway, Rick's was always extremely polite, professional, responsive, and above all else, actually concerned about my satisfaction with the products I had purchased.

Too bad Rick's doesn't sell houses, cars or DVD players....

Shift boot, leather console, full windblock, dead pedal till date and many more products in future, especially when it comes time for a final gear upgrade * Remember the pricing issue about the gears awhile back? * I still standby Rick all the way. This is yet another thumbs up for a great man behind a community-based/minimal profits business.

My experience has always been excellent, all be delivered and dispatched timely, and even when new improvements especially for the vibration on the windblock were implemented, Rick would simply send them out without charge for all his paying customers. Now where else do you get that? Not even Honda has such good customer service. I stand like the majority on this forum, Rick gets my thumbs up for his dedication to this forum and serving it proudly. The pioneering of many improvements have seen them move into upcoming models adapted even by Honda Japan but sadly with no real recognition from Honda. All in all, if there is no Rick and his accomplishments ... The S2000 ownership/driving experience would be much less "plain" and "unimproved".

To all those who have negative thoughts/remarks and impressions with Rick and his business. There is always 2 sides of the coin and 2 sides to a story. Regardless of which side you stand, there will always be lovers and haters. The higher you move up in the success chain, the more haters will rise up to add the occasional bitching as you expect higher than what is expected. It simply comes with the territory. So I say to Rick, keep up the good work. Your reputation and business establishment spreads beyonds the shores of the North Americas continent.

Can't be upset with a man who gives away free gift certificates at meets

Now, what to buy with this $50 certificate I won

I think the man might be forcing me to get one of those front plate brackets - are they in stock again yet?

Got my steering wheel last year. Exchanged it three time. Rick paid for the shipping both ways all three times. There's no better customer service than his as far as I'm concerned. I know he lost money on that deal.
