Default OMP racing seats!

Hello,
I just bought 2 OMP racing seats and they only weight 6.9 Kgs a piece. Full bucket support and all. Constructed out of Kevler/Carbon. The Model is: H/A636. Please see link for pic and detail.

I am picking them up tonight and will post pics later.....

What is the weight again of the stock seats? I recall Mugen seat offers a little under 4 kg weight savings (8lbs).

The Mugen is 5.8 Kgs compares to the OMP at 6.9Kgs. I think 1.1 Kgs wont kill me and plus I am saving alot of money on these seats. Dont forget, I only weight 130Lbs....Muhahahaha

I was impressed with OMP seats I saw at the Long Beach show awhile ago. If the weekend thing were Saturday, I'd go, but the weekends tend to be busy.

Dark,

You are modding at an incredible pace! Mugen seats with rails weigh 20lbs, while oem seats weigh 28lbs, per my home scale. 6.9 kg X 2.2 lbs/kg = 15.18lbs, but that's for the seat itself. You just have to add the weight of the bracket to that. I look forward to checking out your car at the next meet.

Btw, you are going to love driving around in racing seats. It's a totally different feeling.
