Default OMG, NO hardtop anymore...

I placed an order for an oem hardtop last week, and my dealer called me this morning and told me Honda don't manufacture the hardtop anymore and gonna refund my money. OMG! What happend??? I guess I'll go to them and try to figure it out this afternoon...

This is a bit of an exageration. The plant that made them burned down. It'll hopefully start up again later.

Well, HTguy gets his tops from the same source, but he may have access to ones in warehouses that others may not know about. Contact him via his website and ask him what he knows.

I heard people waiting for their hard top six to 12 months before, so don't worry I am sure Honda will start making them. I got mine after two months ordering from a friend who owns a Spoon dealer in San Diego.

This is turning into another "will there be an 06" thread.

Hardtop guy stated he had like 6 or so left I think (but maybe less since there seems to be a hardtop panic lately). The price has been raised for those. Yes, Honda has stopped making the hardtops, but only temporarily. They will resume production once they get their crap in order. I don't know if it's a top style change or factory change. There has been mention of both. Like everything else with Honda, we probably won't know until the week before they come out again.

Rumor has it that Honda is considering making them in the US now.
