Hey, come on, it's VIN#00001. That's got to add, what, 30 hp?

 

This has nothing to do with the S2000.

Should have posted it in Car Talk! But wait, a similar thread has been going on for a week!

 

A) some people like having low number cars (I mean look at all the S2000 owners that place their VIN# in their signature). And this is #1 in the world, whereas I recall the S2K VINs could have multiple models with the same last 4 digits, with a digit somewhere in the middle of the VIN denoting the region the car went to.

B) its for a good cause.

 

I wonder how much of it actually goes to the cause?

 

Two levels down in my workplace there's a charity organisation. It's funny because people who work there drive bimmers and merc's. makes you wonder.
