OMG! It looks like the roll bars are in tan too!

 

Look carefully, the aeroscreen is the same color too.

 

I dunno, something about that pic is not right. The roll bars look like they are tan, as does the mounting bracket for the aeroscreen. However, look infront of the steering wheel....in the Blue interior of the Suzuka Blue Ess's...the dashboard is blue as well.

In this car, the dashboard area in front of the steering wheel still looks black...

That ALL TAN interior is FUGLY!!!!!!!

Oh well, I guess I'm proud to be a few lucky owners of an 02 Grand Prix White with ALL RED Interior. Thank you Honda, and your crack smoking decision makers in AHM for making my car so rare.

 

As far as sales go, I think a tan interior would be much better for Honda than that garish all red interior they had last year. I know some people absolutely love it and I wish that I could have found a way to like it, but for the average person it was just way too much red. The red/black interior used in 2000 and 2001 was much more tasteful and if that had been offered in 2002 I would probably be driving a Grand Prix White S2000 instead of a Spa Yellow Pearl one. I do love my spa though!

Regarding that picture on the honda website, go look at some of the other colors and you will see how off they are from the real thing. I wouldn't give that "photo" much weight regarding what the real tan interior is going to look like. I don't think they're actually pictures of the real cars in those colors but just a poor computer enhanced picture of each.

Seeing as how this came from a salesman. I heard that the white/tan will have a tan top. I'll have to see it to believe it.

 

I'm sorry, but that is ugly. I think it ruins the sportiness of the car. The red interior screams performance.

 

I would think an all tan interior with a black dashboard and center console would look great. Unfortunately from this one pic we are still guessing on how it is done.

And before we all jump off the cliff, I would like to just remind everybody about PhotoShop and what Honda did in the 2002 brochure. Remember all the 2000 and 2001 images they modified to look like 2002 cars?

As for me, I will not believe anything until I see a car in person or we start getting members who have posted pics from a car they saw at the dealer. Sorry, I work in the graphic arts industry and I no longer believe pictures, it is too easy to make them lie.
