ok to wash floor mats in washing machine?
My factory floor mats are pretty dirty. Is it ok to wash them in a clothes washing machine with some laundry detergent, or will that damage them? what about on gentle/slow cycle?

I have used both a commercial pressure washer and my 120V home pressure washer with NO ill effects on my floor mats.
With my Accord I used the soap from the commercial hand-held car wash on high pressure and then rinse with high pressure.
You will be amazed at the dirt that comes out of them. What have you got to lose?, $50 for a new set?
You could even pretreat with an over -the-counter carpet cleaner if so desired.
But I wouldn't used a clothes washing machine. The pressure washer keep the mats flat.

I washed 3 set of floor mats in one commercial front loading clothes washing machine, all sets are front and rear for 3 sedans, without any damage. I would not wash the floor mats in home washing machine, because there was a lot of dirt and sand embedded in the floor mats.
