It this OK? SO2's in Front and SO3's In Back
SO3's are on sale so since I almost need new tires decided to get some SO3's. Placed the order online and today a sales rep called me and asked a few questions:
1. You are aware that the size you ordered is different from stock correct? Yes Sir.
2. What tires do you have in the front? Stock SO2's.
3. The SO3's will have a different handling characteristics, you are aware of that right? Yes.
Who else is running SO2's in the front and SO3's in the rear? What kind of difference have you notices. I know that the SO3's will not handle as well as the SO2's.
Should I have anything to worry about?
Thanks

I don't know anyone who has tried this but I would say you are looking for trouble. The S03s are no where near as grippy as the S02s.
In my view this is a recipe for massive oversteer

If you search threads on tyre choices, many people on this board run different front and rear combinations.
Just my opinion, I have been wrong before....
