Here is your exact answer you are looking for.

Under the S2000's max G level in a corner, the fuel in the fuel tank can pile up on one side of the tank. This makes the fuel pump suck air instead of fuel. This is the power loss you are experiencing. This happens mostly in left hand corners I think. You can search for it and you will find out more info.

I think there was a thread titled something like "car cuts out at max g's" . Search for that and you will find out more info.

Hey all, It's my car that we are all talking about here, fyi. So is there anyway to prevent the feul pump from sucking in air, maybe always have the tank full or something? The weird part is that it usually cuts power basically when i'm straightning back out, not during the turn. I'm not flooring it, the tires don't even lose traction, and yes the car is fully warmed up, its just a moderately fast turn, nothing crazy. Thanks for the feedback.

It's possible the delay is the time it takes for the air to reach your engine from the pick-ups in the tank!

This supposedly only happens when you have 1/2 tank or less. I have never had it happen to me though.

Yup - I'd been told the same thing by a fellow autocrosser at my first AX in an S2000.
