Arrow Oil filter relocation kit options

I've found one while searching and was wondering what is best. I'm shocked at the price of these things where the only thing special about them is the pan fitting and the filter fitting. The hose is never something unique from what I've found.

I bought a turbo kit and took it home as checked bags on an airline. Get this, TSA confiscated the relocation kit after I had checked my bags of parts. It was likely because of oil remaining in the lines and the filter. Needless to say I'm angry (mostly at myself) about the situation. I think they could have atleast let me know that it was removed so that I could try to claim it. But now it's nearly 3 months later and my installer is the first person to break into the box. And of course my instll has ground to a screeching hault because of this.

Thanks for the suggestions, to be honest, if it's cheap and it work I'll get it. I'm by no means a brand whore.

You might want to consider a perma-cool adapter. Several places sell them. Here's one: Jegs
Another brand is Mocal, however you will likely pay more for them.

I'm using Amsoil's dual filtration remote setup, which allows you to use a regular filter and a bypass filter. (The bypass filter catches stuff a regular filter wouldn't, but is so restrictive that only a small fraction of the oil can pass through it on any given pass, hence oil to it bypasses the regular circuit.) I use the BMK-13, here. Not cheap -- about $200, plus the bypass filters are nasty-expensive, though they only need replacement every 25k miles or so.

The Amsoil Dual Remote Bypass filter comes with a universal adapter, and it fits fine on the S2000. I've got one on mine. It is universal because it comes with several threaded fittings - you just pick the correct fitting for your car and screw it in. The rest of the fittings aren't used, but can be saved in case you want to install it on a different car later.
