Personally, I will be doing Mobil1 synthetic every 3750. I only have ~5000 miles so far though, so I'm still on regular Castrol.
I believe the Mobil1 filter is M1-104, not MI-104.
I think it comes down to the type of driving you do.

Mobile 1 every 3,000 or every 3 months. Due to it's current hiatus in the garage the last 2 oil changes have been at 1- 748 miles and 2- 412 miles. I must admit, I love changing my oil!
