daniel_h23, I know EXACTLY how you feel. I am one of those that 4 years ago saw the concept car and fell in love yadda yadda..

Anyway, I still do crazy things like go to the dealership and sit in the S for 1/2 hour a day for almost a week straight.

Hell look at my S2KI Age! And I was on S2000online before that!

It's a sick obsession that will soon become a reality. Hopefully for both of us

Good luck to you my friend.

I see there are a lot of my kind

You just have to be obssessed with s2000 when you sit in one
i don't even know how to drive stick yet
so when my friend takes out his mom's manual saab, i ask him if he can teach me, and when he asks me why i have to learn, then i tell him that i gotta get ready for my s2000, even though that'll be a few maybe even 10 years later

i would not be jealous of any other car if i had a s2000
i wouldn't even want a porsche or m3

nah i know i won't want an m3 or porsche cuz they are too expensive

i'd put a supercharger and mod my s2000, and be faster than those cars
besides i think s2000 looks better than those cars, i really do

i was into m3 once, and even got a ride in it from my family friend (e46), and i liked the sporty ride, the suspension is so tight, but i hear s2000 is even tighter, so i'd guess s2000 is more of my type

i have 270 picutres of s2000 on my computer man! and around 7 videos of s2000 racing, it's making me go nuts

It is a cool car. I have owned practically every kind of car made, and nearly every sports car except a Ferrari, and have decided to have a muscle car and a nimble car - my choice is the S2000! And yes, they seem delightfully free of troubles, considering that web posters are very finicky about their cars. These are little jewels on four wheels.

man roadrage you have two awesome cars.

i was close to getting a MY99 stang cobra from my family friend from california, but their son sold it to his friend for 15k!!!

i could've got it cheaper, but the transportation fee would nearly be a grand, so i was quite disappointed, but oh well

it seems like you have two cars that i was close to getting, (i was close to convincing my mom into letting me lease the s2000 for $200/month, but she said "i'm throwing away money if i'm leasing")

You can talk your mom into it man... If you want it bad, you'll get it. Just don't make too many compromises! I joined the airforce reserves, with the money i bought my s2000 at age 18, brand new. Now i'm 20, and just bought a 71 vette with 400hp to go along side the S. I've compromised WAY WAY too much though. Instead of starting college a year after joining, i'm now on my 3rd year straight of active reserve duty, nice for the cars, but only two courses completed.... i should be graduating next year, not starting. Of course, i didn't have a choice, i was activated after 9/11, which was only 5 months after i joined.... lol. Anyhow, go for it. Its alot of money for someone our age, but if you can swing it and not compromise too much, it IS worth it. It will add a lot of flavor to your life... especially as young as we are!!!!!
