Default Oh Crap, just put regular in my tank!

Ok, so I got distracted at the local gas station talking with, basically the hottest girl I've ever seen, and I accidently put regular unleaded to my S. I quickly noticed my F!@#K-up and stop filling the tank, I put in .78 gallons of regular, and then went ahead topped it off another 9.8 gallons of supreme. I thought about rolling on by to pep boys to grab an octane booster, but I didn't know if I should...

So gimme some advice here guys, should I just forget about it, or grab a product like an octane booster and dump it in there. I'm kinda leaning towards "it shouldn't do any harm", but I just wanted to ask some of the peeps on the boards who are more in the know then I am... which is a lot of you.

Forget about it. Worry about more important things, like not getting distracted when attractive women give you attention and the car is in motion.

timing will automatically get retarded by the ecu so you won't have to worry about it. then again, .78 cents worth of regular is hardly nothing compared to the ~13 gallon tank.

Less than a gallon of reg. won't hurt. At least you didn't put diesel in it.

yeah you have absolutely nothing to worry about. .78 gallons will not hurt anything.

I wouldn't worry about it. I've made the same goof-up a couple of times over the years and my car is still running just fine at 83k miles. Go find that hot chick and make it worth your while.

You could fill up with regular gas and still be fine. As RazorV3 stated the ecu will retard the timing and compensate for the lower octane.
