Default OEM Seats

Hi,

I just got back from my lunch and was curious to see if the passanger side seat would directly fit onto the driver side. Would I have to switch rails or is it just a direct switch?

P.S., my driver seat is getting a little worn so I want to slow down it's process by swapping seats.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, David.

It is my understanding that they are not interchangable, but if you come up with a workable procedure please post it.

i think they would be, but you wouldn't be able to get to the tilt lever on either side.

perhaps just swap the covers as I don't believe the rails and seat belts will line up

I swapped the bottom cushion with cover from the passenger side to the drivers side. It was a simple process. It was a direct fit. I didn't try the back due the seat belt loop.

I removed the seats from the car. The bottom cushions are attached to the frame with a couple of bolts. I can't remember if there is bolt per side or two. Remove the bolts and the cushions come right off. Switch sides and re-install the bolts. That's it.
