OEM lip from hardtop guy.
I just picked up my oem lip today. It fits like a glove (like it should). The lip came with hardware; 4 philips screws with thin threaded clips. And 4 bolts with heavier galvanized threaded clips. I have mounted the thin clips with the philips screws at the ends of the lip. Done.
My problem is mounting the the heavier galvanized clips. I can see the 4 bent tabs/brackets on the inside towars the ends of the lip. There is just no logical way to attach the clips. Do i have to drill into the 'skid plate' to mount these? being oem i did not think i would have to drill anything.
please help
Chris

you don't have to drill, you just put the metal tabs there the right way and align the screw on the little dimple/depression thats on there and just screw on. you have to indeed make holes in your bumper.
