Hi,

I bought my car used, and it has no holes in the front bumper for license plate mounting. All I see are 2 raised areas where it looks like holes should be drilled.

I've searched a few posts, and it seems that a stock S2000 comes with holes drilled and some plugs?

If that's so, would drilling into the bumper myself be the same?--or do the OEM holes have some kind of small bracket or metal surround to make it cleaner and sturdier?

I think those raised areas you're seeing are the bumper plugs.

 

ha ha, stupid me. you're right... i just checked. when i first looked, i didn't notice seems around them.
