OEM headlights on backorder
I finally decided to bite the bullet and order a fresh pair of AP2 headlights, which were showing in stock at Majestic and other vendors. My order was cancelled and they are now showing they are on national backorder, without a date that they'll be available again. I ordered on another site where they were available - cancelled again. Anyone know where I might be able to find a set of new OEM headlights?

Make sure you choose a LHD market vehicle when you choose the model (Germany, for example).
You can also try a JDM importer. BUT you will need to swap your current projectors over so they maintain the LHD beam.
YW (although LOOK AT THAT PRICE)

If they are pretty hazy, you can restore them and then permanently protect them by covering them with a film like Xpel or 3M. I applied Xpel before they hazed over to keep them looking new. I have wet sanded by hand, then used my DA polisher to restore several sets of headlights.

I even had to have a friend pull strings at American Honda Corporate to get me a few parts. Good to have a "guy".
Now some of those same parts are available.
But there's no way to know. Its an old car...so...certain parts may never come back.

Fun fact....waxes and ceramic coatings offer almost nothing in terms of UV protection.
Film or catalyzed urethane clear is the way to go. Film is easier in this case.

I was disheartened after coming across this thread, cuz I was planning on buying a set in a few years. I went on hondaautomotiveparts.com and ordered a set to see what would happen.
Order went through and just shipped...unexpected expense but I got me lights.

If we're talking AP2s, you can find the right headlight on Amazon. Currently in stock:
Left side is out of stock: I would order that side on Majestic.
Took my body shop 2ish months to get headlights last year. I was able to find one of them faster on Amazon. By the time they got a call they were back in stock, I only needed one of the sides from Honda.
Place the order for the other on Majestic, it will be filled it just may take a few weeks/months.
