I've looked through my owners manual and cannot find any referance to a "jonas" listed in the above post. Nor can I find what could cause this part to fail.

Jonas, I'm just kidding you know Anyway, I've got 17.7K and I had the clutch replaced at 4K. Otherwise all is well except for the string that almost ruined my differential and that was not the car's fault.

 

14.5k miles... ZERO problems for the entire car.

transmission makes a slight grumble on deceleration.

In shop currently getting almost new transmission. Wasn't that bad until they did the 2nd gear grind fix. Then it would grind all the time. So they are replacing the entire clutch assembly and 1st and 2nd gears. Yeahhh!!

the front bumper repainted because of peeling paint
rear window replaced(waiting on the third one)
awaiting parts for clutch and seatbelts

Let me just say I know my service advisors name without having to look it up and I am about the the point of memorizing his phone number

 

I have to add, that despite the list of problems,

I LOVE MY S-2000 !

A quick visit to 9000 rpm and all problems to date are a distant memory.
