Are NSX very fun cars compare to S2k?
I want to get rid of my S2000 for something else. I was looking everywhere but couldnt find anything close to it, then all the suddenly I realized that the answer might have been right there. The NSX, but I really doubt it has the go-kart handling like the S2000, but alot of people say its alot of fun. Any input?

It is a different experience - for one thing, the engine note right behind your head at redline is thrilling - the exhaust note sounds great as well. It is not as tossable, so you have to set up your line in the corners carefully - I found that trail braking with steady smooth throttle through the turns was best, as the mass of the engine will tend to induce some understeer, but right when it does, you have clipped the apex and it is time to get on the power again. Targa top is not the same as open air vert.
Then, there is the "exotic" thing - you draw a lot of attention, some good some bad. Law enforcement looks at the S2000 and thinks it is a Miata - they look at the NSX and know that they would rather be in that seat instead of you.
The NSX is feeling and looking its age - be careful about the clutches - they are sensitive to hot-spotting in the hands of idiots - the 1995's had a phenomenon from that called "judder" by the engineers (a slight jerky shudder on clutch engagement from a stop). Mine, a 1995 NSX-T, had 713 miles on it when i bought it, and at 735, went back for a new clutch.

i just drove one again, harder this time
Hm, the car indead feel alot less tossable. I thought think the feeling of targa is very close to the s2000 convertible.
I noticed the Judder thing when I drove it, but it was a 99 and the dealership didnt know anything about it. So...is it normal?
What year should i get, I heard on 2002 they made the suspension parts stronger, is it true?

No it is not normal - except a tiny slight sense depending on your skill at clutch engagement - I think the clutch is hot spotted - there is a break-in sequence for the clutches, and many of the cars can be messed up by the gorillas that take them off the transit trucks.

The NSX is more comfortable, but the S2000 is more fun to drive. My brother has a fixed up 92 NSX and I have on 02 S2000. I've borrowed his car a few times and I found myself smiling when I finally got back into my S.
Then again, I live in so cal and I can drive top-down about 98% of the year.
