I just bought the NRG Hood Dampers, I put them both on and it seems that one is sufficient enough to hold the hood up.

Just wondering if anyone else has just used one and sold the other?

it probably is .... but you don't want to be working on your car with the hood up when/if it decides to fail

One is perfect IMO...I still have the other in case it fails. (I don't think it will)

better to just keep it as insurance imo, as if the one did ever in its life ever happen to freakishly fail, you would have to buy a set again as i dont think the dealer would sell you one..unless you are really strapped for like $60 bucks or something .. $60 towards your turbo kit

I beleive both are needed....why wouldn't the NRG people just make one if it's all it needed....less parts less money to make....
