Wow, I understand now too. Drove my first S2000 two days ago. So immediate, so solid, so FUN! And all this time I thought my current car had a short-throw shifter.
Congrats on the purchase! I'd be interested in hearing your impressions after a month or so of ownership.

Great welcome guys, I really like the feel of this site and people.
I drove my car 100 miles between my 10pm purchase and this afternoon. All I can say is what a blast! I must have had armorall on the tire because leaving the dealership I hit second gear on a left turn and slid sideways across a 4 lane road right in front of a cop. I gunned it onto a freeway and got off at the next exit just to be safe. Oh I can see way to much trouble in store for me.
