Geez. . .at least they do have amber corners. . .but I don't know why, you would'nt indicate a turn while mowing!

I wanted to buy a Honda riding mower so bad but the closest dealer was 100 miles away! So I went with a John Deere, so far no issues but it would be bliss to have ALL HONDAS at my home!

I'm not sure what a harmony mower is but I have the regular self propelled 21" Honda mower. Sounds like you need the cable adjusted.

Good lord, man! That's something "Tim the Tool Man Taylor" would be proud to own. I'm still betting that the cables still need adjusting along with other stuff.

Slightly OT: but Honda has some really sweet push mower technology coming out soon. It amazes me the thought they put into all of their products, even pushing the envelope in lawnmower cutting!

Bass: Sorry to say, but if you mower is like the one a recently purchased, it only runs all full speed. Check you manual. Mine says:

"The engine is controlled by a throttle control located on the side of the upper handle. CHOKE position is for starting a cold engine and FAST position is for starting a warm engine and normal operation. The engine speed is not adjustable."

Mine runs about at redline for the S2k. Not happy!

had the same problem with mine...brand new mower, would only run choked for a few minutes at a time....basically you have a small amount of air flow through the gas cap....yours is probably plugged or a bad gas cap....basically as gas is sucked out of the tank, you build up negative pressure in the tank....only way to keep it running is to choke it to pull more full....eventually the mower will just quit....let it set a bit, air comes into the tank from the carbs...mower will run again...Try a new cap....if that does not work....probably needs the jets cleaned out....this is also a pretty common problem with these mowers....basically a bunch of bad carbs.

Goodluck.
