A factory bolted and tested piece can be trusted. An aftermarket piece that has probably not been tested properly (did they roll an S2K to test their bolt in roll bar??) will not gain my trust so easily.

I dunno who makes what in the S2k world, but in the rockcrawling world, bolt-in cages do just as well as welded ones.I really doubt there is that much difference in this area.

With that said, I'm also looking for a simple rollbar for my S that will retain a stock look, but still help. Kinda of like the Miata ones I've seen a lot.

Is the secret compartment still usable?? Also, what does it weld/bolt into at the bottom, any pics of that area?
