This is hilarious. I've personally seen Mark out at the track. Doing 120 through T1. I was faster than him in my "relic", but it was his second day at the track and my 16th, so that doesn't say much about the cars.

Oh wait, you are talking about going in a straight line for 1/4 mile, aren't you? Never mind.

But if you ever want to see what your car was really designed for, you should come out to PR when it is being used as a road course, not a drag strip.

the torque curve is more linear on the f22c motor, that is why you don't feel a big difference at 6k rpm.
i actually think the vtec punch in the 04 is harder than the previous models. ive driven and ridden in my friends 03.

This turned out to be another MY00-03 vs the MY04 thread. It's all good, there are some interesting comments here

Also, get an alignment. my 04's alignment was lousy from the factory.

For the first 5k miles, it is normal for the engine to consume a little more gas. Thats the experience that I've had with all of my hondas and believe me, I have all of them but a pilot and odyssey. As compared to the 2L's, I dont recall the gas mileage being any different.

I dont think honda has done enough changes to the 04+ models to completely change how the car handles. Alot of people fish tails with the s2ks in turns not because the car handles poorly, but because most people do not understand how to drive rwd's.
