normal on ap1 or 2 headlights

Default normal on ap1 or 2 headlights

i have had this bubbly mark on my drivers side headlight since ive owned the car since 2009. Its the black part inside the headlight. It hasent gotten any bigger as far as i can tell dose anyone else have or seen this????

Too much glare, hit it up with some quality car soap and non scratchy wash mitt, then spray it down with plexus

I've never seen that before. I know for a fact my old ap1 lights, and my new ap2 lights don't have anything like that.

I just checked mine and neither headlight has it.
My car gets minimal use so perhaps with more use it gets caused by the HID lights heating up that area in the fixture.

My driver's side headlight has it. I have an MY00 S2000 with AP1 headlights.

I've seen it on a MY02 as well. Left headlight.

Could it be from heat?

It's the refraction of light off the headlight bezel that shines right there and overheats the area...almost like a kid with a magnifying glass trying to melt things....
