Is this normal?
I'm noticing these days that when I accelerate hard at above 70 mph, my car tends slightly to the right and when I let off the gas it tends slightly to the left.
Is this due to engine torque (torque steer) or is my alignment off.
Any of you noticed this?

i had the same prob... i got all paranoid and worried that my differential was busted up, but thanks to this forum i found out that it was the rear tire presure... check and see if the tires are properly inflated, meaning they have the correct psi and that they are all evenly inflated.... mine had too little air in the right tire and drifted to the right, but when i inflated it it was fine...

Indeed.
I experienced the same problem. My right tire was 10 psi too low.
Our suspension is very tempermental. I swear if somebody threw down a handfull of change, I could roll over it and be able to tell you the denomiation of each coin.
It's a good thing, just high maintenance. Then again, if I wanted a low maint car, I woulda purchased Civic
I check my pressure at every fill-up. I'm sure others on this board do it more frequently.

Yep, it was the tire pressure.
I couln't believe the gauge when I measured it this morning.
One rear was about 30 and the other was around 20....
I should make it a habbit of checking the tire pressure at least once a week.
Thanks for the exact diagnosis again!

all you guys have stock wheels? I have aftermarket 18" wheels and tires and to the best of my memory I don't think I have ever lost any significant pressure. I check the pressure fairly regularly and maybe have tweaked a pound or so on rare occasions, but nothing like you guys are talking about.
Maybe I drive too p*ssy
Seriously tho, I drive pretty hard but don't track or autox. Could the wheel make a difference in that?
