Do you still use the OEM splash shields that are on the underside of the front bumper when you switch to an aftermarket bumper??

How necessary are the underside panels? Do they provide any strengthening function or is it just to keep dirt out?

 

i was simply modified mine (very slightly) and it fit just fine

 

They help stability at speed - so ya, kinda important...
