Smile No S for a year!

It looks like the Army is going to need me in Korea for my next tour(and possibly Iraq depending on my unit). As much I am excited to go overseas again, I'm really bummed about not being able to hop in the S and drive around on the weekends. Fortunately, I get to take temporary duty to SC and a month of vacation before I have to report. On my trip back to the west coast, I want to drive the long way. Anyone have any suggestions on roads or places to hit on my way back? (yes, I will drive the dragon, that's #1 on my list.)

I don't know about driving cross country for scenic routes, but once you get in California, you can definitely drive the Pacific Coast Highway to the 101 and up Highway 1 through monterey and big sur.
Btw, what part of California are you heading to?

my bad, SC = South Carolina

I really dont have many friends or family north of D.C., and my dad lives in Florida, so I'm thinking of taking a southern route back to Seattle. Maybe PCH wouldn't be a bad idea on the way back.
